BAHAI SCHOOL TADONG CELEBRATES 80TH INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOR
Bahai School, Tadong, joined the rest of the nation in marking India's 80th Independence Day with a grand celebration filled with patriotic zeal and vibrant cultural performances.
The commemorative event commenced early in the morning with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal, followed by a proud and stirring rendition of the National Anthem sung together by everyone present. The school grounds were adorned in the colors of the tricolor, setting a festive atmosphere for the students, teaching staff, and attending parents.
The highlight of the celebration was a disciplined march-past by the student contingents, showcasing their coordination and unity. This was followed by a rich cultural program where students from various classes paid tribute to the sacrifices of India's freedom fighters. The itinerary featured patriotic group songs, traditional dances, and powerful student speeches emphasizing the vital role of the youth in the nation's continued progress.
In the keynote address, the faculty urged the students to draw inspiration from the country's historic struggle for independence and to contribute positively to society by upholding the values of integrity, harmony, and hard work.
